Dr. Ross Jeffery is Research Program Leader for Empirical Software Engineering in NICTA and Professor of Software Engineering in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW. His research interests are in software engineering process and product modeling and improvement, electronic process guides and software knowledge management, software quality, software metrics, software technical and management reviews, and software resource modeling and estimation. His research has involved over fifty government and industry organizations over a period of 20 years and has been funded by industry, government and universities. He has co-authored four books and over one hundred and twenty research papers. He was elected Fellow of the Australian Computer Society for his contribution to software engineering research. |

Dr. Foong Wai Keong is Co-Founder, President
and CEO of Ecquaria Technologies. A veteran in
the industry with more than 20 years of experience,
Dr. Foong brings with him a wealth of knowledge
and expertise.
Instrumental in a number of key Singapore and
pan-Asia government consultancy initiatives and
project implementations, Dr. Foong is highly
sought after in the area of providing thought
leadership for e-Government solutions.
Dr. Foong's main role lies in spearheading the
vision and strategic planning of Ecquaria
Technologies, a fast growing enterprise software
infrastructure solutions company that serves
governments and large organizations worldwide
leveraging on its internationally acclaimed and
award-winning flagship platform, the Ecquaria
Service-Oriented Platform™ (Ecquaria SOP™).
In addition, he also steers and oversees the
implementation of all financial and business
strategies as well as opportunities that drive
growth and profit for the company.
Prior to establishing Ecquaria Technologies, Dr. Foong
was responsible for the entire management and
operations of the Java Competency Centre of Kent
Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL), as well as evangelizing the
use of Java in Singapore and the region.
Dr Foong sits on the Board of Governors of
Temasek Polytechnic and the Ministry of
Education, EduSave Advisory Council. He is also
the Vice Chairman of the eGovernment Chapter at
Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF)
which promotes the capabilities and solutions of
local ICT enterprise members to foreign governments.
Dr Foong was recognized for being an outstanding
technoprenuer at the 'ASME Most Promising
Netrepreneur of the Year' 2001 Award and the
Phoenix Award 2003. Dr. Foong holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours)
from the University of Western Australia and a
Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne, both in
Computer Science.

- Subrahmanyam (Subu) has been with Infosys for the last 18 years. He is a member of the Management Council and manages the company’s Technology Council
- He has spent more than a decade in IT consulting, project management and solution delivery management.
- Subu’s key focus areas for study include technological forecasting, innovation management, technology management, R&D in the context of software services, and benchmarking
- Subu heads Software Engineering and Technology Labs (SETLabs), which is the Center for Research and Innovation at Infosys.
- He also heads Microsoft Technology Centre. MTC helps technology management on the Microsoft platform. It manages the adoption of Microsoft technologies within Infosys and to our customers
- Subu received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Mangalore University in Electrical and Electronics in 1988.
