A. Minimum requirements for stpm candidates

University general regulations

• pass spm with good grade
• pass bm with honors in the spm level / equivalent
• pass stpm with at least
• o (i) (Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in general study; and
• o (ii) Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects.
• Already sitting for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

special Program requirement (all specializations)

obtained at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Additional Maths or advanced additional maths in the STPM level.

B. Minimum requirements for KPM Matriculation /Asasi Sains UM candidates

University general regulations

pass spm with good grade

• pass bm with honors in the spm level / equivalent
• pass KPM Matriculation /Asasi Sains UM with at least cgpa 2.00;
• Already sitting for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

special Program requirement (all specializations)

1. biological science /physical science matriculation

i) obtained at least Grade C (2.00) in mathematics.

C. Equivalent requirements

University general regulations

 pass spm with good grade

• pass bm with honors in the spm level / equivalent
• possessed diploma or other equally recognized qualifications by the university senate and;
• Already sitting for Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

Fulfill the university general regulations

As well as

special Program requirement

Diploma in the related field or other recognized qualifications by the UPM senate.

Or

Possessed good qualification in the spm level in mathematics, working experience in the related field and pass the faculty admission evaluation.
