PENGKOMPUTERAN CERDAS (Intelligence Computing)

 

PENGENALAN:

Terdapat tiga bidang penyelidikan yang sedang dijalankan oleh kumpulan penyelidikan kami, iaitu Perlombongan Data, Agen Cerdas dan Bioinformatik. Perlombongan Data dan Agen Cerdas sedang berjalan, mana kala Bioinformatik masih di peringkat permulaan.

Penyelidikan dalam Perlombongan Data tertumpu kepada dua teknik besar, iaitu klasifikasi dan perlombongan petua-petua berhubungan bagi menangani masalah dalam set data yang besar. Secara khusus, kami menumpukan perhatian kepada pembangunan model pengurangan pengetahuan bagi pengklasifikasian data serta penemuan hubungan yang kuat antara data melalui pelbagai algoritma untuk mencari corak-corak kerap. Kami berhasrat untuk memperkenalkan teknik baru yang berupaya menukar data yang banyak kepada maklumat dan pengetahuan yang berguna secara cerdas.

Penyelidikan dalam Agen Cerdas pula tertumpu kepada agen sosial, iaitu salah satu daripada ciri-ciri agen cerdas. Kami menumpukan kepada pembinaan agen perbualan yang mampu belajar melalui kaedah berasaskan korpus. Ianya merangkumi pelbagai tugasan-tugasan kecil daripada pengecaman aksi dialog kepada penjanaan respon. Kami membayangkan sebuah senibina yang terbuka dan terhubung, bagi memenuhi pelbagai latar belakang perniagaan seperti sistem tempahan teater, sistem tempahan tiket keretapi atau sistem bantuan.

Bagi penyelidikan dalam Bioinformatik pula, kami berhasrat untuk memfokus kepada anotasi gen, iaitu proses menanda gen dan ciri-ciri biologi yang lain dalam sesuatu rantaian DNA. Matlamat kami adalah untuk membina sebuah sistem perisian yang berupaya mencari gen-gen tertentu, memindahkan RNA dan ciri-ciri lain supaya kami dapat menjalankan penetapan fungsi kepada gen-gen tersebut. Oleh kerana kebanyakan sistem anotasi gen yang sedia ada sering berubah dan ditambahbaik, matlamat akhir kami adalah pengskalaan pada sistem perisian tersebut agar boleh berubah mengikut kehendak penyelidikan.
